This is rich: how is the Church considering transmedial strategies to deliver the Holy Gospel?

The announcement is a bit old (posted on January 3 on Advergaming), but I will pass it on anyway for the italian readers, maybe it is not too late.

At Nike Italy we are currently looking for a young talent to join for six months our brand communication team. If you’re interested and qualified for the position, your English (as well as your Italian!) is excellent and you are willing to move to Bologna, please send me your CV to this address: submitnews @ adverblog. com.

good luck!

I am not sure this is transmedial, but it sure is a citizen production, and a very good one indeed.
The italian text below explains how “Addio Pizzo” (”Bye Bye Racket”) is a grassroots organization starting on the Internet, offering free downloads of stickers and other material to spread the message. This happens in Palermo, against the Mafia. Something similar is happening in Naples against the camorra (you did know that there are different kind of mafias in Italy, didn’t you?) with the Neapolitan group ContraCamorra.
To emulate immediately. Possibly adding some trasmedial strategies.

Advergaming on Facebook: Parking Wars

Parking Wars: the game is an advergaming for the upcoming A&E television series Parking Wars about metermaids and parking reinforcements (!) ; the game is a Facebook application to promote the show, in which you have to put cars in your friends’ streets and if the cars stay long enough they start earning money - as Ian Bogost points out, this structure really takes advantage of the social network structure, and, I might add, it adds a whole new dimension to the cross media product. When are we going to see content creation through Facebook applications? I mean, micro-content adding up to some story universe? Has it been done already?/news courtesy of Water Cooler Games
